Artwork & Photos on this Blog

Most of the single artworks on this blog are by myself. There are links in the right column to my paintings, drawings, sculptures, and prints, as well as works of pottery. While many of the pottery posts are actually written on that subject, I've found my own drawings and sculptures particularly lend themselves to illustrating my personal poetry.

'Tracing Project' posts contain images that in some way illustrate the project in process, with images of models, props, or shots of the studio.

There are many free copyright artworks on the blog by great masters. William Blake, Fuseli, Picasso, and others.

Many of the nature and botanical photos, pictures of trees, mushrooms, lakes and rivers, are by myself, taken in the Adirondacks. Other photographs are free-copyright images that seem to do the job of illustrating my essays and poetry. I can hope for the day when I can produce images for everything, but that is just not possible. I offer my gratitude to the many generous hearted image makers who have released their works to the general public.
