Tea-bowl for my Mother, #22 of 36, "Goldfish"

    "Some red flashing, inside drips,
What's left of brushwork, looks like fish."

Any sensitive human aware of what's happening on planet Earth, will today, and for weeks and months, be searching for understanding - what happened in Norway? Why?

Meanwhile, almost to get relief from everything in the news that I find so disturbing, I'm listening to Amy Winehouse. She's alive in the brilliant work she did for ten years.

Happy late birthday Mom! I hope you like it.

Tea-bowl for Arjun, #21 of 36, "The Egret"

"In a tidal marsh, of sunset red,
We saw this egret, before going to bed."

This cup is promised to my son, who at this moment is studying endangered birds in the thorn-forests of Kutch.
