Tea-bowl for Elizabeth Livingston, #12 of 36, "The Full Moon"

"I've named this bowl for a moon that's full,
It gleams tonight, my full-moon bowl."

I'm at tea-bowl number 12.

Time flies. This project, which loomed ahead of me as a month of sleepless nights, now is one third through.

I spent the day writing an essay about the mythology of numbers and commerce, in today's world.

I considered the importance of the number 12 to medieval Christian theologians and architects. It made me realize that giving these cups away via the act of sharing tea with friends or strangers, was related to the same concept.

This tea-bowl has been claimed by Elizabeth Livingston, dear friend, author, painter and mother.
