I have a dear friend, who lives at the end
   of the deep Mediterranean sea,
A girl from Greece, whose mission was peace
   became a true friend to me.
I found a panel in an art museum,
   that portrays my lovely maid,
Flowers in her hair, and curls that lie bare,
   Her eyes shine bright as the day.
